Emo friend boba tea – Authentic Emo Vibes & Delicious Bubble Tea in Rocky River

This is my new favorite boba place! The atmosphere of the store is super cool and very welcoming, the staff/person who took our order and made our drink was very friendly and welcoming, and the boba tasted amazing. I got the strawberry milk tea and I will for sure be coming back soon.

Never been here, but this place looks and sounds AWESOME rawr It does look more punk than emo, but its still probably an amazing place to meet fellow emos idk. I have been emo for almost 2 years now. I dont think its a phase. It never was a phase. I became emo because of Johnnie Guilbert when I was 11 and now im 13, not allowed to watch his videos, but still agreeing with many people that hes amazing. Also photo dump because why not

I’m so glad I finally stopped in and checked this place out! Super yummy drinks. I had the strawberry fruit tea with tapioca pearls and coconut jelly, and my daughter had brown sugar milk tea with strawberry popping pearls. We both loved our drinks. I wasn’t a huge fan of the texture of the popping pearls in hers, but I loved the coconut jelly in mine. The flavor was delicious. We will definitely return!

Went here today for the first time with my friends and was in love immediately! Great style for any elder Emos or newer alt crowd and AMAZING DRINKS! They were cheap too! 2 for 10! Will definitely be going again

I found a great newer Bubble Tea place in Rocky River( opened Oct 2023). Unique and dedicated to Emo Culture. My wife got a strawberry milk tea and an Earl Gray tea for later. I got a pineapple juice with peach bubbles. All very good. Great value and great service. I think we have to wear black lipstick next time.

My 7 yr old son and I made a trip out here, and we found authetic Boba and great conversation! My son absolutely adores this place!!! He ranted and raved to his dad about it, first thing he told his Dad, " we went and got Boba!" And let me tell ya, we've had Boba many times, but this place ...its something special, and VERY AUTHETIC! thank you for lighting my son and I up, we'll be back soon!

20/10 hands down the BEST boba I've ever had! I've tried other boba shops around Cleveland and nothing compares to Emo Friend! I love bringing new people here to experience the great prices, drinks, and atmosphere and have yet to be disappointed. I also thoroughly enjoy talking to the owner, Z. He's a great dude! *the drink in the picture is the blueberry fruit tea w/yogurt popping. hands down my new favorite*

I'm from Michigan and have been looking for a boba tea to get while I travel to Ohio for work. While driving today I saw the sign out front and decided to stop. Tried the Brown Sugar milk tea with tapioca boba and the mango fruit tea with mango popping. I would really recommend the brown sugar milk tea with tapioca. The tapioca boba came warm like they were fresh (I'm assuming they are). Both drinks weren't overly sweet. The service was great as well. I'm assuming it was the owner. He was patient with the couple ahead of me who didn't know what they wanted immediately. The shop is also environmentally friendly as everyone gets a reusable cup & lid. They still use plastic straws tho. It's a great effort to reduce single use plastics that most boba shops typically do! Great job Emo Friend! Lastly the inside is decorated as you'd expect by your Emo Friend. It has CD sleeves on the walls, Record sleeves, Posters, motorcycle jackets, and more. There's also a Marshall speaker playing some tunes. I'd go back and I recommend the Brown Sugar Milk tea with tapioca boba as my favorite so far. 5/5. Thanks
